Patrice Purnell
Patrice Purnell is the visionary founder of Louisiana Fashion Week, a platform where fashion, culture, and purpose collide. As an entrepreneur, creative director, and advocate for mental health awareness, Patrice is passionate about using fashion as a tool to inspire confidence, spark conversations, and bring communities together. Known for her bold creativity and heart for service, she continues to build experiences that celebrate individuality, empowerment, and the vibrant spirit of Louisiana.

Production Assistant
Toi Henderson
Toi Henderson brings over 16 years of modeling experience to Louisiana Fashion Week as a former published model with a deep passion for fashion and production. Holding a certification in Fashion and Merchandising, she combines hands-on industry experience with a strong understanding of both the creative and operational sides of fashion.
Currently serving as a Production Assistant for Louisiana Fashion Week, Toi plays an important role in the coordination and execution of fashion shows and special events. Her responsibilities include supporting the run of show, backstage coordination, designer support, guest and seating assistance, runner duties, and helping ensure productions operate smoothly from preparation to finale.
With experience both in front of and behind the scenes, Toi brings professionalism, adaptability, and a strong understanding of the fashion industry to every production. Her dedication, organization, and eye for detail help create seamless experiences that contribute to the success and overall vision of Louisiana Fashion Week.

Deatra Peoples-Blunt
Deatra Peoples-Blunt serves as the Creative Director for Louisiana Fashion Week, bringing over three decades of experience in modeling, runway production, and creative leadership. A seasoned fashion professional, Deatra is passionate about transforming fashion concepts into visually compelling experiences that leave a lasting impression on audiences and participants alike.
In her role, Deatra leads the creative vision behind productions, helping shape runway presentations while mentoring talent and elevating brand visibility. Her expertise in fashion production and artistic direction plays a vital role in creating polished, high-impact experiences for designers, models, and guests.
Driven by excellence and innovation, Deatra’s vision is to deliver impactful fashion experiences that elevate designers, engage audiences, and reflect the sophistication, creativity, and cultural influence of Louisiana’s fashion community.

Runway Coach Assistant

Meet Ty'Eisha McCaleb, Louisiana Fashion Week Runway Coach Assistant. Her role involves facilitating rehearsals and setups, which includes guiding walkthroughs and organizing the backstage area. Additionally, she assist models with quick clothing changes and ensure their outfits align perfectly with the designer's vision.
